The jetty specialised for handling edible oil and palm oil-based products, equipped with two wharves with a pipeline system directly to the tank farm as well as a storage capacity of nearly 136,970 tonnes for import and export operations.
Dedicated to meet the handling of vegetable oil, the Vegetable Oil Tanker Pier (VOTP) is linked via overhead pipelines to facilitate direct loading and discharging of oils to privately owned storage tank farms. VOTP is located at the south of the Butterworth Deep Water Wharves (BDWW). BDWW and VOTP are dedicated installations used to handle this service.
